Did you catch the veggie tales song reference? At one point in my childhood I could sing the whole, “Billy Joe McGuffery was a really clumsy kid on the first day of first grade I’ll tell you what he did… and on.” Today was my first day of my senior year! Okay actually I started one class two weeks ago, but I started the rest today so I’m counting this as my first day. ;)
These photos are from my mid-morning peach snack ;) I’m the weird girl who would rather sit in her comfy chair then at her desk so I just use my desk chair sometimes to hold my computer when I have to watch dvd’s for my classes. I’m loving my large planner, it’s helping me get tons done!
I was so refreshed and renewed this past weekend at the cabin. We had some of our longtime family friends up (my bestie Laurie & her family <3) and it was just so so wonderful. On the drive home as I was reflecting on the weekend in my journal, I looked out the window and had the most overwhelming desire to shoot photos. I was so so inspired. Fast forward to this evening, I was baking grain free chocolate chip cookies and I looked out the window and spotted some beautiful shadows on one of the west facing walls of our house. I quick pulled the cookies out of the oven and called Care to come down, the above photos are the result. Falling back in love with shooting for myself, I’ve been learning to find inspiration from the outdoors and fine art instead of pinterest. I’m loving this new inspiration and love for photography.
I finished off my night with those yummy chocolate chip cookies and a 10 minute catch up phone call with Olivia.
Senior year looks like it is going to be fabulous!
