summer adventure//instagramed
Last week at this time I was in Texas, interning with Jessica Shae along with 8 other amazing girls. I think I put off writing this post because I didn’t want to even think about how one of the best weeks of my life is over. finished. but the obsessive blogger in me was screaming “WHAT YOU HAVEN’T BLOGGED IN 15 DAYS?!?!?!?!?” so here I am, telling you just a small part of the story. Hannah and I flooded Instagram with many pictures a day. Many of which were from the backseat of Jessica’s car as Hannah, Olivia and I shoulder danced to Colbie Callait, and laughed at pretty much everything.
Waiting to board my plane. I had to wake up at 4 am, that was one early morning.
After Jessica, Hannah and Hannah picked me up we instagrammed it up at the carwash, where we waited extra long because we didn’t see that the car was all ready washed and ready. ;)
The first of many backseat pictures.
On tuesday everyone ordered in Pizza but becasue I’m gf I got to order room service. It was huge! They even gave me a pretty yellow rose to adorn the rolling table
the spots we assumed every night from about 9-midnight. editing, editing, editing. not very much talking except for the occasional “which one is better this one or this one’? and “GAHHHH look at this shot” We were all tired and got excited super easily. Sometimes we attempted to sing and harmonize but when you don’t all know the words it doesn’t work out all that great! ;)
Hannah kept stealing my clothes. the constant refrain was “madeline, can I wear this?” “I’m totes m goats stealing your TOMs”
Whose leg is whose? hmmm just look at the tan legs.

The very last airport picture.
Olivia and I accompanied Hannah to her gate and then went up a very scary escalator to the creepy train that was 50 feet off the ground and very fast, down an elevator (because one scary escalator was enough for me). To starbucks and then to the gate where we waited for my flight. That last hug was so sad. :( Texas was over. I was leaving. the flight home was uneventful and I recalled all the things I had learned, how much I feel I had grown as a photographer, and how I feel more secure in my style.
My wonderful best-friends-forever fellow photographers and interns + past interns + our fabulous and sweet mentor (photo by her)! :)

I miss you girls so much! I have so much more to share from the internship! But that will have to wait. ahh I’m also working on my new business website! I can’t wait to share it with you when we are finished. :)

Yay! =) I so enjoyed seeing your instagram pictures from your summer adventure with Jessica. =) I would love to attend an internship of hers when I’m old enough! =) Blessings and can’t wait to see more of your lovely pictures, Madeline! ;)
