Just now, a month later am I getting around to blogging one of my favorite summer memories. Better late then never, right?
Adventures and spontaneity are some of my favorite things. The cabin and road-trips are also some of my favorite things. Made even better with best friends. Bright and early on a wednesday morning, in the middle of August, Sarah, Em and Laurie along with Care and I drove up to the cabin for a couple of days. Mom and the little girls were already there so we had a crazy all girls 2 days up there. On the way there we stopped at a scenic overlook that I’ve been wanting to stop at for a while. It’s crazy beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. It was deserted and we absolutely loved wandering around. Then after we got a bunch of mosquito bites and took a ton of photos, we hopped back into the car and were on our way again. We stopped at our favorite local coffee shop that is 30 minutes away from our cabin. Then we finally made it to the cabin where we laughed, talked, jumped in the lake, hung out, went on walks and more. Thankful for these girls and our time together.
