I Prayed. He Answered.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. John 15:16
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
At the Radiant Purity conference Grace Mally gave a short talk about witnessing. After hearing it I was really inspired and felt the Lord leading me that witnessing was something he really wanted me to do. So that was Saturday fast forward to Wednesday (today). This morning I prayed that the Lord would bring someone across my path that I could witness to. Then as we were reading our History the mail came but we noticed that the mail lady was parked just a few feet beyond our mailbox and that she was just siting there in her truck with her flashers on. We went on reading our History and she went on sitting there. At that point the Lord brought to my mind that I should go out and witness to her. We looked through several tracts that we had on hand and then prayed and I ventured out into the rain under my bright pink umbrella a started up a conversation with the mail lady. After talking about her truck problems. I asked her if I could ask her and interesting question she said yes so I preceded to ask “Do you think eternal life is a free gift or something you have to earn?” She said she thought you probably had to earn it but do good things. We talked for a few minutes about the Ten Commandments “the good person test” and I then recommended that she read the book or Romans. Just at that moment her new truck pulled up.
God does answer prayer! How often do mail trucks break down? What are the odd that it would happen right in front of our house? With God all things are possible!

That is soo awesome Madeline! God is soooo wonderful!! Thank the Lord for the time you had with your mail lady! I pray that what you shared with her will touch her heart!
Love in Him,

Well done! Jesus does answer our prayers in strange ways.
(I’m a christian girl in Australia who’s been reading your blog for a month or so, it’s very good).
